Free requests reset each UTC calendar month and are shared across stores, keys, and environments. Normal rate limits apply to both plans. After the free allowance, upgrade or wait for the next reset.
Early-launch safety limits currently start at $50 USD-equivalent per payment creation and 1,000 creations per merchant per UTC month. Paid plans do not bypass these limits. Check effective limits or request an increase; requests require review and do not automatically change your limits.
Prices are fixed in BTC; fiat value varies. Network fees are separate and may outweigh very small on-chain payments. Paid checkout is available only when platform payment readiness is verified. Connecting a wallet alone does not mean it is ready to receive payments.

Bitcoin payment availability still depends on network synchronization and verified store configuration. On-chain fees can make tiny purchases uneconomical. Lightning is better suited to small, frequent payments; existing provider-specific integrations require separate configuration and verification, not just an account.

BlockAck is payment software, not a custodial payment processor. We create invoices, display checkout instructions, monitor transactions, and send notifications. We do not collect customer funds for onward settlement to merchants.
No spending keys
For Bitcoin, public wallet information allows address derivation and monitoring, not spending. Keep seed phrases and private keys in your own wallet. Never enter them in BlockAck.
Payment data, not control of funds
Customers authorize payments in their wallets. Connect external providers only with invoice-create/read credentials, never spending or withdrawal permissions. Provider custody and availability depend on your chosen provider.
No platform withdrawal step
Customer funds are not pooled or held in a BlockAck balance. Merchants handle refunds from their own wallets or providers; BlockAck does not make merchant payouts.
Lawful payments only
We refuse signup and new payments from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria. New accounts say what they sell and give a public website. We record a review of that page. Payments stay off when the page is prohibited, does not describe what they sell, or cannot be opened, until a person reviews it. We do not serve illegal drugs, illegal weapons, fraud, sanctions evasion, or sexual content involving anyone under 18.
A screening score does not clear a business. Read prohibited uses.
BlockAck subscription fees pay for our software and are received separately as our own revenue—not customer funds held for merchants. Read the service boundary in our Terms.

You can turn the link off later, and a customer payment is recorded. BlockAck is only for lawful sales and does not hold the bitcoin.
How are public payment links protected from abuse?
BlockAck applies layered request limits, idempotent payment attempts, and bounded checkout admission before asking the payment provider to create an invoice. Definitively unpaid expired attempts release their reserved capacity. Suspicious or excessive requests fail before a new payment destination is created. We do not publish operational thresholds or private infrastructure details.
Can customers share their payment receipt?
After recorded Bitcoin settlement, a merchant can create an expiring receipt link and revoke it. The receipt page offers copy, share, and download QR. Anyone with the link can see limited payment details. It is not a tax invoice or a fresh blockchain verification, and already saved copies cannot be revoked.
Who is BlockAck for?
Individuals, creators, and small businesses whose customers already want to pay in Bitcoin, for lawful digital products, memberships, and simple services. A signed-in merchant can create a hosted payment or donation link. Illegal goods, sanctions evasion, and embargoed countries are refused.
Is this suitable for tiny payments?
Not every on-chain payment is economical. Check the wallet’s network fee before paying; receiving many small Bitcoin outputs can also increase future spending costs. Lightning is a better fit for small, frequent payments, but general Lightning availability is not ready. A price in sats does not guarantee a low network fee.
Are there early-launch payment limits?
The current early-launch limits are $50 USD-equivalent per payment creation and 1,000 creations per merchant per UTC month, shared across stores and supported payment methods. Paid plans do not bypass them. Check Billing for your effective limits and submit an increase request for review; approval is not automatic. These operational limits are not legal or regulatory exemptions.
Can I use BlockAck for subscription payments?
Yes, as the payment layer for your own subscription workflow: your app schedules each billing cycle, creates an invoice through the API, and updates access after a verified settlement callback. Customers approve and pay each invoice. Managed customer subscriptions and automatic wallet debits are not provided. The Starter plan below pays for your BlockAck API access, not your customers’ subscriptions.
What happens after my free requests run out?
Each merchant gets 1,000 authorized API requests per UTC calendar month, shared across stores and keys. After that, subscribe to Starter or wait for the next monthly reset. There are no automatic overage charges. Normal rate limits apply to all plans.
Does BlockAck hold my funds?
No. Customer payments go directly to merchant-controlled wallets or the merchant’s configured provider, not a BlockAck-held balance. We do not receive, pool, hold, or forward customer funds on your behalf. BlockAck provides invoice software, payment monitoring, and notifications. Never share your seed phrase or private keys; use invoice-only provider credentials, not spending or withdrawal permissions.
Is BlockAck a payment processor?
BlockAck provides non-custodial payment software, not a custodial payment-processing service that collects customer funds and pays them out to merchants. We create invoices and checkout instructions, monitor transactions, and send payment-status notifications. We do not provide card acquiring, custody, escrow, or merchant payouts. This describes our service; regulatory classification depends on actual activities and applicable law, not this label.
Can BlockAck refund a customer or freeze my wallet?
BlockAck has no merchant-wallet spending keys and does not initiate merchant refunds or withdrawals. Refunds must be arranged with the merchant and sent using their own wallet or provider. We can suspend access to BlockAck software; that is not a freeze of assets in your wallet. Networks, token issuers, and external providers may have their own controls.
Do I need another payment account?
No. You create your account and store in BlockAck. Bitcoin is paid to the wallet you connect.
What about Lightning, Solana, and other coins?
Bitcoin on-chain is our launch focus and the only asset offered in wallet setup for now. Broader Lightning support and other networks are not generally available, with no committed release dates. Existing provider-specific Lightning integrations require separate configuration and verification. Solana is not supported yet.
Can I start accepting payments immediately?
Create your account and connect your wallet first. Before accepting real payments, verify receiving addresses, network synchronization, gateway connectivity, and an end-to-end payment. Store provisioning alone is not a payment-readiness check.
